AN INTRODUCTION
What is the Lumina Process?

A brief introduction to the Lumina Process — what it is, who it's for, and why we need it now more than ever.
The Heart of Lumina
The Lumina Process is shaped by developmental research, contemporary approaches to parts work, and wisdom traditions that have long explored suffering, shadow, and the possibility of wholeness. Developed by Alexander Love through more than twenty years of facilitating deep transformation, it offers a rigorous and compassionate path for those seeking lasting change.
At its heart, Lumina helps you recognize and work with parts of the self that have been hidden in shadow, caught in painful patterns, or shaped by protective strategies that no longer serve. With practice, you discover that these parts are not problems to fix — they are emanations of wholeness. As the process unfolds, patterns resolve, and you learn will learn how to live from an unbroken dimension of being.

WHY LUMINA
A Deep and Integrative Path
Four domains that distinguish the Lumina Process.

Parts-Informed
Lumina helps you work with parts of the self that carry pain, protection, reactivity, and hidden potential. These parts are not problems to fix, but expressions of wholeness. As inner conflict transforms, profound shifts occur in our relationships with family, friends, and community.

Post-Tragic
Lumina fosters our post-tragic potential, the possibility of returning to pain, loss, and suffering from a deeper ground of wholeness — meeting tragedy not as an endpoint, but as an invocation of possibility.

A Developmental Embrace.
Grounded in developmental research and Integral theory, Lumina meets the full complexity of who you are. Rather than applying a fixed template, the work embraces your entire developmental landscape — so that every aspect of you is met with what it needs.

Integrative
Lumina weaves together shadow work, the arc of human development, and Eastern wisdom into one coherent whole. Working with our shadows, awakening to wholeness, and showing up with integrity are not treated as separate domains — in Lumina, each one deepens and illuminates the others.

I can genuinely say that my life and work would not shine as brightly as they do had I not engaged in the Lumina work under the gentle and expertly capable direction of this brilliant facilitator. Diving into the depths of the hidden with Alexander has led to profound insights that have genuinely changed my life for the better. My relationships are grounded in unconditional love. My work has a clarity of purpose and direction."

THE POST-TRAGIC TURN
What becomes possible when we return to tragedy from an unbroken dimension of being?

"Post-tragic doesn't mean we're leaving tragedy behind. It involves returning to the tragedy — but from a different vantage point. Which, for us, is the disposition of wholeness."
— Alexander Love
The Lumina Process awakens the post-tragic possibility, where suffering begins to loosen, and patterns soften and resolve. Wholeness becomes a more stable presence in our lives, enabling us to create meaningful impact in the world.

"Sometimes the way gets a little dark, you might run out of what you need to keep moving — and that's what this course has done for me. It's helped me to continue my journey in a better way."

LUMINA GRADUATE

"I really noticed a lot of long lasting and permanent changes. Other healing work I've done might feel good in the moment, but then the same patterns seem to arise. And with this work, I notice tangible and measurable changes in my life. And that feels really good."
