ABOUT THE COURSE

Tragedy as Threshold

At the heart of being human is a sacred gap — the space between knower and known, where reflection and meaning-making emerge. But this same gap also gives rise to our experience of separation. We fall under the spell of fracture: the pervasive belief that something is fundamentally broken or wrong with us.

In our current times of divisiveness and chaos, many of us sense that the story we have been living is no longer working. This course is an invitation into a new chapter — a pathway that embraces pain, suffering, and tragedy from unbroken dimensions of wholeness. In doing so, a world that can seem dark and horrifying is transformed into a sacred landscape full of possibility. The post-tragic worldview teaches us to return to pain from a deeper ground — one that is able to meet the complexities of this era with inexhaustible love, compassion, and creativity.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Five Chapters. A New Dawn.

The Sacred Gap

The space between self and world — where meaning is made, where awe and wonder live, and where the experience of separation first arises.

02

The Ways We Meet Tragedy

Preserved innocence, tragic disillusionment, and the post-tragic possibility — three orientations that shape how we relate to suffering and the difficulty of being human.

03

Evolution's Engine

The great gesture of becoming. The movement of life through us, shaping how we grow, make meaning, and become-with the world.

04

The Post-Tragic Architecture

The five gestures of evolution's engine and how they shape the post-tragic worldview.

05

Embodied Practice
